The Ascona Music Festival will present a series of films directed by the multi-award winning French director BRUNO MONSAINGEON, dedicated to three great classical musicians of the 20th century.
Bruno Monsaingeon has gained wide international acclaim for his books and documentary films on the greatest classical musicians of our time.
On this occasion he will present some of his most significant documentaries: those on the pianist Sviatoslav Richter, the violinist Yehudi Menuhin and the baritone Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau.
We will have the privilege of having the director himself introducing two evenings, discussing his work in filmmaking and his encounters and friendships with musicians of a similar magnitude.
