From October to December 2026, the Ascona Music Festival returns for its 17th edition, with a new programme devoted to music and the art of deep listening.

This year’s festival will feature INSTANTS – Great Musical Miniatures for Piano, the new concert project by Daniel Levy, exploring short yet intensely expressive compositions that, in just a few notes, can contain extraordinary poetic and emotional depth.

From 20 October 2026, three online concerts by Daniel Levy will be available, inviting listeners to discover the world of INSTANTS, with works by great composers including Bach, Scarlatti, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Schumann, Brahms, Chopin, Liszt, Grieg and Scriabin, alongside other major figures from the history of music.

An invitation to rediscover the power of the musical instant: the beauty of a fleeting moment that can suspend time, awaken the imagination and leave a lasting impression on the memory.

The album INSTANTS will also be available for download, allowing listeners to continue exploring and enjoying these “great musical miniatures” long after the concerts.
