Camerata dei Castelli

ORCHESTRA

Camerata dei Castelli is an orchestra based in Bellinzona. Founded in June 2013 by its conductor Andreas Laake, it began its activity in the season of '13 -'14 with a cycle of concerts which took place at the Teatro Sociale and Castelgrande. Camerata dei Castelli is supported by Bellinzona Theater, the City of Bellinzona and Bellinzona Tourism. It is composed by twenty professional musicians, and aims to incorporate in its staff some young promises of classical music in Ticino. This orchestra, selected with great care, wants to offer the public concerts of high artistic quality in places that, due to their size, do not always lend themselves to accommodate large symphonic formations. The repertoire of the Camerata dei Castelli is very varied and extends from baroque music to the debut of contemporary works.
